“Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is again transforming into a winter wonderland this holiday season with Wild Winter Lights presented by NOPEC,” the zoo wrote on its website. “Experience this year’s all-new lighting display, with more than one million individual lights & unique twists on holiday traditions.”
The zoo is set to feature a myriad of gorgeous twinkling attractions for the whole family, including a ginormous Christmas tree fit with brand new dynamic light display, Enchanting Forest, Conservation Trail, Santa’s Workshop, and Candyland. But that’s not all, the brilliant light display will be scored with live caroling choirs, as you saunter through carousels, ice carvers, train displays, and more.
Visitors can all visit Santa in his workshop to get a good word in and snap a photo!
In order to keep staff and guests safe, the zoo is implementing a new set of safety guidelines and measures, including mandatory face masks for all guests over the age of 6. Additionally, the zoo will sanitize the grounds on a frequent basis and strongly encourages all guests to order their tickets in advance.
Wild Winter Lights will also offer a drive-through option for visitors, in which case masks will are not required.
Wild Winter Lights kicks off November 19 at 5:30 pm and runs until Sunday December 27. Tickets for members cost $18, and $20 for non-members. Drive-through tickets start at $54 for members and $60 for non-members.
