Rainforest Car Wash in Medina is resurrecting its notorious spooky car wash just in time for Halloween.
Now more than ever, we know the importance of thorough sanitization. And while your hatchback may not be your number one priority right now in terms of cleanliness, it will be the vehicle you need to have a frighteningly fun car wash experience this October. For two weekends this Halloween season, Rainforest Car Wash will be hosting their wildly popular Haunted Car Wash! [Featured image: @rfwash]
On the weekend of October 16 – 18 and October 23 – 25, you can drive down to Medina to have a good scream while you get your car cleaned:
“Each customer will enjoy a slow spooky ride through the tunnel where creatures will be lurking,” the business writes on their %5C%22%22%7D]%2C%22has_source%22%3Atrue%7D”]event page. “The cost is $20/vehicle and free for members. Each participant will receive a trick or treat bag, our top wash, and an experience they will never forget!”
This will be the car wash’s second year holding the event, after their first Haunted Car Wash experience went viral — landing on the airwaves of commercial news outlets such as CNN.
“The first time around, the Haunted Car Wash event was an unexpected success and a complete whirlwind. After getting that incredible degree of positive response—not just from our local community, but also from a much broader national audience—we knew that the event would be here to stay as a new favorite annual Rainforest tradition and a great opportunity to have some family-friendly fall fun,” said Rainforest’s District Manager, Anthony Bencivenni.
The car wash plans to go over bigger with the experience this year with two additional dates. Granted the event’s past viral success, the car wash will further encourage visitors to upload a video of their experience using the hashtag #rfhaunted for the chance to win 6 months of unlimited car washes.
Tickets for the experience run for $20 for non-members, while Unlimited members will be granted free admission. The event will start the weekend of October 16 from 5 pm – 10 pm, that Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the 18, it’ll be held from 3 pm – 6 pm. The following weekend will feature the same schedule.
