Looking to spend time eating with your friends or loved one this Valentine’s Day? We’ve got you covered, Cleveland. From dessert shops to charcuterie boards to high-class restaurants, here’s a list of restaurants, shops, and bars that have special Valentine’s Day deals for you and your sweetheart.
1. Sweet Moses Treats
It feels like stepping into the 1950s when you walk into Sweet Moses’ Old Fashion Fountain and Treat Shop where they’re sticking to the tradition of classic homemade ice cream and soda pop. They’ve got sundaes, ice cream floats, and regular scoops all made with freshly-churned ice cream. They’ve also got a specialty sundae called ‘The Burnin Love” sundae that’s topped with a toasted marshmallow in the shape of a heart just for Valentine’s Day. While sharing a sundae or milkshake is more romantic, its safer nowadays to get your own. Don’t mind if I do.

2. Prosperity Social Club
Prosperity Social Club is a trendy and exciting place to go for brunch, booze, and dinner. This year, they’ve partnered up with the Great Cleveland Aquarium who is running a Valentine’s Day raffle event called “A Splash of Romance” where winners get a prize packaged estimating $500. Prosperity Social Club’s dinner and cocktails are among some of those prizes. Prosperity Social Club has been a popular romantic spot for Valentine’s Day due to the creation of their Valen-Tiki-Tini. They’ve also got a pretty extensive beer list. Make sure to enter into the raffle before 5p.m (E.T.) Sunday November 14th.
3. Get a Valentine’s Day Meal-to-go from one of these restaurants
The Cleveland Independent association has gathered the support of over 2 dozen restaurants to participate in their Valentine’s Day To-go project. Couples can get 3-course meals from a variety of high quality restaurants ranging from Italian to Seafood to American and all in-between. The idea behind the Valentine’s Day to-go initiative is to promote safety, and the idea that romance can happen anywhere. Some are still doing dine-in so check with the particular restaurant. They’ll be offering speciality menus that will be available from February 11th through the 14th. Here are just a few of the restaurants participating, but you can find more info here.

8. Marble Room Steakhouse and Raw Bar
One of the more upscale restaurants in Cleveland, Marble Room used to be an old bank but was redesigned into this restaurant. If the name’s any indication, Marble Room does two things with expertise: their steak sand their fresh, raw seafood. For $30 per person, guests can do a fresh seafood tasting, or or $40, guests can share a plate of delicious caviar on toast. They also have different types of steaks like Filet Mignon, New York Strip, or Rib-eye.

9. Daisy Cake Cake Pops
Daisy Cake Cake Pops is going all out this Valentine’s Day with specialty cake pops, edible bouquets in collaborations with the bouquet studio, Molly Taylor and Co, and MYOCP (Make Your Own Cake Pop) Kits. What more can you ask for? On Saturday, February 13th at 6pm they’ll also be hosting a Virtual Valentine Cake Pop Workshop so don’t miss out. 10. Cloak & Dagger

If you like a little Medieval flair with your cocktail. check out Cloak & Dagger, a bar doing signature cocktails with a fantastical-theme. With cocktails like ‘The Fall of Man” and “King of the Dead” you’d assume the flavor is just as epic as the name. They also do vegan renditions of classic foods like their Meatloaf or their Brisket Sandwich. Cloak & Dagger has some special Valentine’s Day announcements up their sleeves, and will announce them next week. They recommend making reservations now as they’re almost full.

11. L’Albatros

L’Albatros is a French restaurant that is doing dine-in and take out reservations with a special Valentine’s day dinner 3-course menu perfect for 2. Each person chooses between a choice dishes for each course. Course 1 is Lobster bisque, their Salade du Nisc, or a Seafood Timbale with shrimp, lobster, and Sauce Américaine. Course 2 is a choice between Braised Beef Au Poivre, Coq Au Vin, or Salmon Almandine. And course 3, guests can finish the meal with either their Chocolate Flourless Cake, Red Velvet Cheesecake, or Almond Cake.

12. Little Devil Cupcakery
We had to include this bakery for its credentials alone, even if it’s a bit out of the way. Voted Ohio’s Sweetest Bakery in 2019, this sweet shop focuses on cupcakes in a variety of delicious sounding flavors. They’ve got the classics like chocolate and vanilla, but they’ve also got delicious premium and gourmet flavors like 24 Carrot Cake, Chocolate Éclair, French Toast, Turtle Cheesecake, or Amaretto Bliss. It’ll be hard to choose with the variety of flavors they offer, and we can only assume they’ll have some special flavors coming up for Valentine’s Day.

13. Sugar Me Desserterie

Sugar Me Desserterie sells made from scratch cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats perfect for Valentine’s Day (or whenever, honestly). They’re a traditional Mother and Daughter shop that promise pastries made with real ingredients. Their hand-designed cakes are all beautifully designed, and they do a lot of special event pastries, Valentine’s Day included. They’ve also got hand-made dessert boxes of varying sizes for special order this year. 14. Emily Nicole Events
Emily Nicole is doing hand-made charcuterie boards this Valentine’s Day for couples who prefer to stay home. One of their specials for Valentine’s Day is a personally crafted S’mores charcuterie box filled with Hershey’s Bars, Graham Crackers, marshmallows, chocolate covered cake, a candle, and other goodies. They’re priced at $60 with free pickup or delivery within 5 miles of West park or $10 outside. She’s even got savory charcuterie boards if you fancy as well. 15. Dante’s Inferno Flats
You could skip the dinner and do a Valentine’s Day brunch instead at Dante’s Inferno. This year they’ll be hosting brunch from 11am-2pm with DJ Jocelyn and a live drag show performance. Their brunch menu is offering some classics like The Morning After Waffle that’s both sweet and savory, and the Florentine Omelette with spinach, mozzarella, and tomato. Plus, they’ve got a great brunch cocktail menu. Social distancing and masks are required and limited seating is available.
