The Asian Lantern Festival is sticking around all month, thanks to popular demand!
The Asian Lantern Festival at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, which was originally planned to run through September 5, has been extended to last through September 26.
Guests can visit the festival on foot every Thursday through Sunday from 6:30pm to 10pm. Those who would like to drive through can do so on Wednesday, September 15 from 6pm to 9:30pm.
The popular event, now in its fourth year, guides guests through over 70 light displays including over a thousand individual lanterns. This year’s event also boasts live performances every hour on the Fifth Third Bank Stage, with acts including acrobatics, contortion, and martial arts. (Note that these performances take place only on the walk-through dates on Thursdays through Sundays).
Aside from the light displays, the festival also provides a spotlight for Asian crafts and food through the Asian Craft and Food Markets.
Admission is $20 online for nonmembers and $18 online for members, or a flat $22 at the box office day-of. There are also discounts available for tickets purchased in groups of 5. The drive-through experience is $54 per car for members, or $60 per car for non-members. Tickets are available here.
